Today the Dutch Internet Domain Registration Authority (SIDN) has succesfully implemented DNSSEC for the first dutch .NL Domain. The first secured domain using DNSSEC is PowerDNS.nl. "PowerDNS acknowledges of the importance of DNSSEC for the security of the .nl-domains says Bert Hubert, founder of PowerDNS". "We've been involved with the DNSSEC project in the Netherlands from the start and therefore proud that our domain PowerDNS.nl is the first domain to use DNSSEC.
